Carnedd Meibion Owen

Carnedd Meibion Owen or the Cairns of the sons of Owen, is the burial sites of 3 Giant sons who fought to the death over their inheritance. Known locally by some as "The stupid giants" it is presumed to be a rebirth site with many features seemingly pointing towards the nearby Pentre Ifan burial chamber. There are possibly 2 or 3 Neolithic chambered tombs and an ancient track of unknown date.
