À propos de Dunseverick castle
The castle was used as a fort and observation post and was attacked by Viking raiders in 870AD. The O'Cahan family held it from circa 1000 AD to circa 1320 AD. The last one to have the castle was Giolla Dubh Ó Catháin, who left it in 1657 to settle in the Lisbellanagroagh area. It is also a place of worship for a local Heathen group called Thorgisls Hearth
