Karachay-Cherkessia, Aksaut river

Aksaut is one of the most abundant rivers flowing through the territory of Karachay-Cherkessia. It originates from the Khasaut glacier and merges with the Marukha River, forming the Maly Zelenchuk River. The river is 77 km long, the catchment area is 843 km². in the river valley there are objects of historical value. for example, a stone found was most likely used as a sacrificial stone.
