Ruïnes greco-romanes d'Empúries

This place is the only one in Catalonia were you can see ancient greek ruins! Empúries (εμποριον in ancient greek) was a greek colony, later the romans arrived and called it Emporiae. Also, the native iberian population had a settlement there. It's been a very important commercial point during the antiquity. Today we can visit the ruins and the museum built there.
