À propos de Old Viking Farm
The first archeological research on the Faroese was conducted in Kvívík from 1941 to 1957. Underneath medieval settlement remains, archeologists discovered this dwelling house and a cowshed from the viking era. House: 21 meters long, 5.75 meters wide, entrance east towards the river. C.owshed: only 7.5 meters remaining, supposed to have held 12 cows (considering the cows where a lot smaller at that time).
