Shap Abbey

A old Premonstratensian Priory, the white casdocked Friars here would have served the local community with good works. This is a truly beautiful Abbey in a peaceful location, it can be found by driving down the narrow road down Keld lane where there is English Heritage parking at the bottom of the valley. It is free to explore.
