À propos de Hardknott Roman Fort
The most astoundingly places Roman Forts in the British Isles, and of course one of the hardest to get to. Hardknott was built by the Roman legions to protect the pass through the Lake District. It was built by the IV Dalmatian Cohort in 120 AD and was abandoned soon after meaning that the Fort pretty much has its original shape and layout. It has astounding views of Scafell Pole and the Lake District mountains.
