À propos de Ruined Cathedral Múrurin
After being abolished in 1557, the cathedral Múrurin, "The Wall", went out of use and left without a roof, windows, or doors. The Faroese National Museum presented a restauration project only then in 1997, which was rejected. Then in 2003, a commission set up by the Minister Of Culture of the Faroe Islands revisited and finally accepted the project. The preservation work was finished in 2009, allowing the public to enter. There is no gate closing it off, so you can walk through it as much as you want with having to pay entrance.
